Jotflow

Privacy policy

Last updated 4 November 2026 · BufferSol Technologies

Short version: what you write in Jotflow stays on your phone. We do not collect it, read it, sell it or use it for ads.

What Jotflow stores

Your pages, actions, lists and settings are saved in the app on your device only. The app works offline and needs no account.

What we collect

In the current version, nothing. Jotflow does not send your text, contacts or any personal data to our servers. The app has no ads and no third-party advertising or tracking code.

Actions send text only where you choose

When you tap an action (for example WhatsApp, email, Slack or Google Docs), Jotflow hands your text to that app through Android. What that app does with it is governed by that app's own privacy policy. We never see it.

App updates

Jotflow checks for app updates through Expo Updates. This request carries the app and runtime version and the platform, not personal data.

Optional usage counts

Settings has a switch, off by default, to share anonymous usage counts (for example "an action was run"). It never includes your text. If you leave it off, nothing is sent.

Optional backup (when released)

A future update may offer optional Google sign-in to back up and restore your notes. If you choose it, your email address, an account ID and your note text would be stored on our infrastructure (Cloudflare and MongoDB Atlas, acting on our behalf) to provide the backup, and not shared with anyone else. You can delete the account and its data at any time, see Delete your data. We will update this page before that feature ships.

Children

Jotflow is not designed for children under 13 (or the age required in your country).

Your choices

Uninstalling the app removes all data saved on your phone. You can export your notes from Settings first. Questions or requests: buffersoltechnologies@gmail.com.
